PACO Elects and Selects
This week the Paralegal Association of Central Ohio held its monthly general membership meeting, coupled with the annual meeting and elections. This event has become known as the “Oscar Party.” With a few decorations and a lot of applause, PACO President, Trina Hayes, announced award winners for the following members: Monica Talbert, Outstanding New Member; Kathy McGranahan, Paralegal of the Year; Kristin Gordon, Outstanding Committee Member; Amanda Coleman, Outstanding Committee Chair; Melinda Small, Outstanding Member; Pam Geiser Danley, Outstanding Board Member.
As PACO closes out each fiscal year, they take the opportunity for members to recognize the hard work of volunteers within the organization. Members are asked to nominate fellow members for an award in certain categories. On the day of the annual meeting, award winners are announced at the “Oscar Party” which is held before the summer hiatus. PACO will resume regularly scheduled general membership meetings on the third Monday of each month the offices of the Columbus Bar beginning in September.
