A Message from the President

Dear Colleague,

The economy has been tough on everyone and Columbus lawyers and law firms are no exception. We at the Columbus Bar wondered what we could do to really help our members, and we think we’ve created something special – the CLE Easy Pass. Attorneys who renew their Columbus Bar membership (or join as new members) by June 30, 2009 will have the option to get 12 hours of our CLE for just $100. Yes, that’s 12 hours of CLE for $100.

How can we afford to offer such a great deal on CLE? To be honest, we may lose money on this, but we appreciate the concept of shared sacrifice, and we think it's the right thing to do for our members.

CLE Easy Pass hours can be selected from over 400 hours of quality CLE programming available through the Columbus Bar between July 1, 2009 and June 30, 2010, including our brand new CLE Masters Series that will begin in the fall. Columbus Bar CLE has always been a good value for quality programming, at a convenient location, with friendly staff members, and the CLE Easy Pass makes it even more affordable.

We have made Ben Franklin the face of CLE Easy Pass. When you see him around the Bar, in our publications, and on our website, he will remind you that you still have time to accept our offer to pick up a CLE Easy Pass. You know Ben – “A Penny Saved is a Penny Earned.”
