Table Talk! Judges and New Lawyers

Judges from the Common Pleas Court will join the Columbus Bar New Lawyers for the informal luncheon on Tuesday, April 28, noon at the Bar offices. Each year, the judges reach out to welcome New Lawyers to the profession. During lunch, they offer thoughts and advice to the group of New Lawyers they are seated with. First-time attendees come for a chance for informal conversation and an inside glimpse of the Bench’s perspective on practice, court rules and codes, formal and informal. Repeat attendees come to renew relationships or create new ones with the judges.

If you are a member in your first five years of practice, plan to reciprocate the Bench’s efforts to get to know you by attending this unique event. If you’ve passed your first five years of practice, encourage your eligible colleagues to attend.
