Yale Law Professor to Present New First Amendment Theory
The 30th Annual John E. Sullivan Lecture at Capital University Law School will be presented by Akhil Reed Amar on Friday, April 3 at 2:30 pm at the Columbus Museum of Art Auditorium. Amar is the Sterling Professor of Law and Political Science at Yale University. His lecture, “How America’s Constitution Affirmed Freedom of Speech Even Before the First Amendment,” will offer a new theory on the First Amendment and also celebrates the 40th anniversary of the landmark decision in Bradenburg v. Ohio.
