Board Actions

On February 6, 2009, the Columbus Bar Board of Governors met to consider reports and recommendations. The Board took the following action on the matters before it:

• Approved the appointment of Debbie Hamilton (non-lawyer) and Bridgette Roman
  (lawyer slot) to the Ethics Committee;
• Approved the proposed changes to the Ethics Department file retention policy, which
  had been approved by the committee at its January meeting;
• Approved the appointment of the following members to the CLE Program Development Task Force: Gregory M. Travalio, chair, Isaac Brant Ledman & Teetor; Lori Clary, Porter Wright Morris & Arthur; Scott N. Friedman, Friedman & Mirman; Michael K. Geiser, Plymale Patnership; Lisa Pierce-Reisz, Vorys Sater Seymour and Pease; Keith W. Schneider, Maguire & Schneider; Kristy Swope, Swope & Swope; Hon. Alan C. Travis;
• Approved the appointment of the following members to the Judicial Campaign Advertising Committee: New Appointments: Marsha Ryan and Brad Wrightsel; Reappointments: Kathleen Trafford and Karen Days; Alternate Appointment: Drew Campbell.
