Navigating Guardianship
In the sensitive landscape of guardianship, ensuring your clients’ rights and well-being is vital. Advocating for your client while navigating the requirements of the court, the administrative details of each matter, and often family dynamics pose unique challenges. On October 15, Columbus Bar presents a 3.25 CLE credit hour advanced seminar for both experienced guardianship attorneys and those new to the practice.
Organized by Magistrate Kelly Patton, the Advanced Guardianship Symposium topics of discussion include: when, why, and how to file guardianship inventories and accounts; how to pursue a guardianship land sale civil action; and how to properly handle Medicaid issues. In addition, participants will find the discussion from a panel of experienced guardians invaluable as they provide strategies and best practices for effectively interacting with a ward’s family, caring for wards in facility placement, and managing banking issues.
Join presenters Adam R. Rinehart, John Mashburn, Jack G. Gibbs, Jr., Magistrate Benjamin F. Suffron, III, and Michael D. Juhola for an informative seminar full of excellent insights into this important area of law.
