Columbus Bar Sponsors NBC4 Health and Lifestyle Expo

The Columbus Bar had a successful showing this past weekend as sponsors at the NBC4 Health and Lifestyle Expo at the Convention Center. Member lawyers Tim Gerrity, Gary Price, Bob Angell, and Jim Bownas manned the booth with Columbus Bar staff, answering questions, offering short legal consultations for free, and printing off lawyer contact information with a laptop and printer when an attendee needed further help. Some people stopped by our booth with their own legal questions and some came with questions for friends or relatives needing a lawyer.

A presentation by David Winters and George Luther about teens and legal matters was well received by the crowd as was the “10 Tips for Parents of Teens” card passed out at our booth. In all, the event was a successful educational opportunity reinforcing the Columbus Bar’s role in connecting the public with legal help and promoting justice for all.
