Columbus Bar Promotes Members

The Columbus Bar is pleased to announce the establishment of a new year-long marketing relationship with NBC4 as the sole legal representative in the 4YourLifestyle program. Similar to marketing you may have seen for NBC’s 4YourHealth program, our agreement with them will provide the Columbus Bar and its members significant exposure on the most watched central Ohio television station and most popular news website based in Ohio. Additionally, Columbus Bar members from the Lawyer Referral Service and ColumbusLawyerFinder.com will be featured at NBC’s Health and Lifestyle Expo, this Saturday and Sunday (9/13 and 9/14) at the Columbus Convention Center.

Television coverage will include 30 and 15 second television commercial exposure on NBC4 (WCMH), a strong presence on NBC4i.com NBC estimates that over 899,030 adults will see our television exposure every month, and their website averages over 4.6 million page views and over 394,000 unique visitors per month.

NBC’s Health and Lifestyle Expo will feature attorneys from Lawyer Referral Service (LRS) and ColumbusLawyerFinder.com (CLF), who will be on hand to answer general legal questions from Expo attendees. Tim Gerrity, Bob Angell, Jim Bownas, and Gary Price will be manning the booth along with Marion Smithberger from LRS and Anne Leonard-Palmer from CLF. Additionally, at 1pm on Saturday, on the “Demo” stage, George Luther and David Winters will be presenting “Ten Tips for Parents to share with Teens, before they get into trouble.” NBC estimates that 20,000 people will attend the Expo this weekend and on air talent has promoted it regularly. In addition, Jim Bownas was interviewed on camera by Mike Jackson from NBC on Monday, giving a preview of what kind of questions attorneys in the Columbus Bar booth might be hearing from Expo attendees.

“We are confident that this relationship will be beneficial for our members. We are trying to drive a positive message about the good work our members do, and to make consumers feel less intimidated by the legal process,” explains Alex Lagusch, Executive Director. “We expect increased traffic to all Columbus Bar products as a result of our agreement with NBC, and we’d love to help our members connect with more central Ohio consumers and small businesses with legal needs.”
