Save the Date: PACO's Affair to Remember

~ written by Tricia Mays

The Paralegal Association of Central Ohio is turning 35 and you're invited to the celebration! On October 2, 5:30 p.m., paralegals from across Central Ohio will gather at the law firm of Vorys, Sater Seymour and Pease (52 E. Gay St.) for a trip down memory lane and to celebrate the rich history of the organization. Judge John W. McCormac, who was instrumental in the development of the paralegal program at Capital University Law School, will give his thoughts on the paralegal profession and how it has evolved into one of the fastest growing in the country.

We will also be honored with the presence of the president of the NFPA, Anita Hayworth, to give reflections on how PACO has been a pioneering organization for paralegals across the country. There will be old pictures, memorabilia, and a special videotaping of member contributions. So save the date, as this is a time of celebration with old friends and new colleagues. There is no cost to attend and parking will be provided free of charge. To RSVP by September 15 or for information regarding the event, please contact Nancy Heller at nbheller@vorys.com.
