Pro Bono Award Nominations!

It is time once again for the Columbus Bar and Bar Foundation to formally honor and recognize our colleagues who have demonstrated an exceptional commitment to the public good by providing free legal services to the poor and disadvantaged in Central Ohio. We need the bench and bar to nominate those worthy candidates.

Nominees should have a history of providing, facilitating or encouraging the delivery of legal services to persons of limited means or to charitable, religious, civic, community, governmental and/or educational organizations in matters designed primarily to address the needs of persons of limited financial resources.

If you know an attorney, law firm, corporate legal department, judge, pro bono program or project, or a government agency that has demonstrated exceptional pro bono service in the past year, you are encouraged to nominate the candidate for an Outstanding Pro Bono Service Award.

We need to remind ourselves and the public of the fine services provided by lawyers in our communities. Please take time to select and nominate a candidate for this prestigious service award.
