Velvet Motorcycle Ride

The Eighth "23rd Annual" Carlile Patchen & Murphy Velvet Motorcycle Ride is scheduled for Sunday (not Saturday) September 7, beginning at 1 p.m. (after lunch).

This year's ride has a new destination on Buckeye Lake. Papa Boo's, The Lake Place, Avondale Road, Thornville, an establishment in the spirit of a soothing "Margaritaville.” Papa Boo's will offer a richly deserved reward to an afternoon of wonderful two-wheeling, the musical stylings of Jesse Henry and the Royal Tycoons from 3 to 7 pm.

Riders will meet at the CPM parking lot, 366 East Broad Street (Grant and Broad), at 1 pm and head out by 1:25. Be sure to top off your tanks before we leave.

CPM Velvet Ride is open to central Ohio lawyers, judges, staff, and clients and friends (and their co-riders, of course). No pending cases or client matters are open for discussion, but bragging about your bike, or the latest chrome doo-dad you just installed is strongly encouraged.

Note: CPM assumes no liabilities whatsoever. All riders participate at their own risk. Hope to see you Sunday. If you plan to attend, reply by email to Leon Friedberg, LF@cpmlaw.com.

We once again have iron-clad reps and warranties that the weather will be fine on September 7; however, Sunday, September 14, is the weather back-up day.
