New Lawyers set calendar, 2008-2009

Hello New Lawyers!

Welcome to a new year of exciting events planned for the New Lawyers Committee. All attorneys in their first five years of practice, including those awaiting bar results, are invited to join New Lawyers and to attend all events. As you will see, this is going to be a great year. We start the year off (September 16) with a CLE ( You’re a “Young” Lawyer – Now What? Dealing with the Many Personalities of the Legal Profession) geared specifically to the challenges new lawyers face. The seminar will be followed by a happy hour, and you are welcome to attend even if you can’t make it to the CLE.

We are planning a second CLE in December and will continue our tradition of “Lunch with the Judges” in October and April. All New Lawyers are also invited to the workshops offered by the Leadership Academy during the year. Participating in the New Lawyers Committee is a fantastic way to enhance your networking skills and to build relationships with your peers that will last throughout your career. See you in September!
