NALS@Noon kicks off in August

NALS of Central Ohio is now offering monthly chapter meetings at the Columbus Bar in a lunch and learn format called NALS@Noon. NALS encourages professionalism and productivity for legal support staff through education, certification and networking. Noon meetings are an excellent opportunity for downtown legal support staff to see what NALS has to offer.

Formerly known as the Columbus Association of Legal Secretaries, NALS has been around since 1960. The association's name was changed in 2002 to better reflect what NALS is – an association providing educational and professional development opportunities for ALL members of the legal support services team. NALS is dedicated to enhancing the competencies and contributions of members in the legal services profession.

NALS@Noon will kick off on Friday, August 15 in the Columbus Bar training room. The inaugural speaker will be Colleen Marshall, Channel 4 news anchor and practicing attorney.

Upcoming Nals@Noon meetings will be held on September 5 and October 17. Topics will keep with current developments in the local legal community, focusing on professional development.
