Paralegal SOS

The Columbus Bar Lawyers for Justice program is seeking volunteer paralegals. Two new free legal clinics are opening in the Columbus area with a possible third opening later this year. Each clinic will need a volunteer to greet the clients, make sure clients fill out the intake forms properly, get the forms to the attorneys, and assist the attorneys when necessary. The clinics are only open for two hours once each month. Your volunteer time would be minimal but your service would be invaluable.

The two clinics are ready to open: Christian Assembly (north) at 4099 Karl Road, open August 11, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.; Mt Olivet Baptist Church (downtown) 428 E. Main St., open September 4, 5:30 to7:30 p.m. A third clinic, All Nations (west) currently does not have an open date.
