Pro Bono Partnership seminar for volunteer guardian ad litem service to children of the poor
This free three-credit CLE (Supreme Court approved) seminar will be offered July 24, 1:30 – 4:45, at the Columbus Bar Foundation for attorneys interested in volunteering as guardians ad litem for poor children in custody and visitation cases in Juvenile Court in Franklin County. Attorneys attending the free course will be expected to take a case.
The Columbus Bar and the Foundation boards awarded a joint grant ($25,000) to the Pro Bono Partnership Project with the Moritz College of Law Clinical Program to underwrite training. Additional grants are from the ABA and the Kellogg Foundation.
