Estate Plans for First Responders -- Gifts from the Bar and Probate Court

Over the past few weeks, more than 100 Columbus Bar members volunteered their time to prepare estate plans for over 360 Columbus area firefighters and police officers as part of the Wills for First Responders program sponsored by the Columbus Bar and the Probate Court. The attorneys and paralegals listed below not only donated their talents, but often went above and beyond the call of duty spending extra hours with clients -- all free of charge -- just to be sure to honor all the requests and cover all the needs.

As always, when thanking a long list of volunteers, we run the risk of missing someone and we do know that there were many “unsung heroes” of this project -- paralegals, receptionists, even children of attorneys -- who, at the last minute, stopped by the sites to offer help making copies, running computers and serving as witnesses. To those wonderful folks, we also say thank you! We could not have done this without such amazing support from our volunteers!
