Columbus Bar and Capital Club host new lawyers, summer associates
While we all remember the sweet anticipation of waiting for the bell that ends the school year, waiting in a hot, humid classroom filled with overexcited teens and an exhausted teacher isn’t exactly the most fun.
On Wednesday, June 11, 5 -7:30 p.m., in the Presidential Room and Terrace at the Capital Club, New Lawyers will enjoy a year-end, summer happy hour celebration that will remind New Lawyers that being an adult has its perks, even if you don’t get to sleep in and ride your bike aimlessly around your neighborhood all summer.
If you’re a member in your first five years of practice or in law school working as an associate for the summer, please join your friends and colleagues for a relaxing evening of casual conversation.
There is no charge for the event. A cash bar will feature happy hour drink specials. Further details will appear in next week’s Columbus Bar Friday.
Parking is available in the Huntington garage after 5 p.m. for a flat rate of $3. Please send RSVPs for yourself or your group to Lara Bertsch at 221.4112 or Lara@cbalaw.org.
