In Remembrance
Many of us remember cheering for the Buckeyes with him in the Horseshoe. Some only knew him as a man who was devoted to serving his clients and defending their rights in a court of law. All of us who knew him will miss him dearly. Art was born in 1939 in Waterbury, Connecticut. He and his two brothers, Jeff and Doug, grew up in Kentucky and Illinois. He met and married his first wife, Jeane, in college at Iowa Wesleyan. He graduated from Ohio State School of Law in 1963. He married his second wife, Charlene, in 1973, who preceded him in death in 1995. Art practiced law in Columbus for 46 years. Some of us called him "dad," some called him "grandpa," some called him "counselor," and many called him "friend." Art passed away in North Carolina, near the beach he loved, on March 7, 2008.
