Members of the Columbus Bar in their first five years of practice, members of the Young Professionals of Columbus (YPC) and their guests, will gather for a special happy hour hosted by the Athletic Club of Columbus, Friday, March 28, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Club located at 136 E. Broad St. in Downtown Columbus.

 

The event will center around casual conversation, a special selection of appetizers and the elegant atmosphere of the club, but will include an optional wine tasting experience for only $15 or $1 a taste. Guests can choose from a full bar or drink specials that include $3 wine and mixed drinks and $2 drafts.

 

"Giving lawyers and their non-lawyer guests a chance to relax and meet new people provides a great excuse for the lawyers to stop talking shop -- if only for a little while," laughed Michael Heintz, Porter Wright Attorney and member of the New Lawyers Committee. "This event at the Athletic Club provides a nice opportunity to introduce one or two of the people who are important in our personal lives to some of the people who are important in our professional lives. My wife and I can't wait to attend!"
