I am a mother of a graduate student and I was the primary caregiver for both of my elderly parents. Although my Mother died in 2006, my Father still resides with me. I bring these experiences to my Probate practice and appreciate that this particular area of law is as filled with emotional issues as well as legal ones. In the tax field, I served as a liaison to the Internal Revenue Service and respect how they work while advocating for my client's needs and interests.

 

In the tax field, as Counsel to the Senate Ways and Means committee, I became very knowledgeable about the operations of the tax codes. I chose the Probate field because it requires the same attention to detail as a tax practice. My knowledge of tax and probate also affords me an opportunity to do tax planning to benefit the estate and its beneficiaries.

 

Because of our firm's small size and limited areas of law we practice, we are able to provide prompt and efficient services to our clients while maintaining a very personal connection. I am very involved with my religion. I am active in the Saint Joseph Cathedral community. I am a Lady of the Knights of the Holy Sepulchre, have traveled to the Holy Land and support efforts to obtain peace in the region. I also serve as an advisor to the Catholic Foundation.
