BMV law valuable information
BMV Law Basics and the Impact of DUS, NOL, and OVIs – Video Replay deals with the representation of clients on BMV issues, the use of BMV online services by the attorney, and driver’s license sanctions. Organizer Mike Rankin brought together three experts to bring you up to speed on the information you need to know for providing the best possible defense on OVI. If you missed this great 3-hour seminar the first time around, you will want to be sure to attend on Wednesday, March 19 from 1:30 – 4:45 p.m.
John Guldin of the Department of Safety tells about representing your clients on BMV issues including: obtaining BMV records; appealing BMV and court suspensions; limited driving privileges; and Commercial Driver’s License issues.
Tim Fisher, Acting Chief of Licenses Support and BMV Reinstatement of the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles, discusses BMV online services and suspensions. He also conducts a BMV online tutorial, demonstrating how to search real time BMV driving records and reinstatement requirements. Finally, he summarizes BMV suspension and reinstatement requirements with a discussion of suspension cases and reinstatement policy and procedure.
