Why did you decide to become an attorney?

The practice of law affords me the greatest opportunity to fully utilize all of my motivational skills to the benefit of my clients. I derive a great sense of achievement when a case is resolved in favor of my client and their family.

What experiences help you to be a better attorney?

There is nothing complicated or special about this, but rather, it is simple everyday life and the lessons learned there that I put to good use as an attorney.

What made you choose your primary area of law?

While I was in law school I had the opportunity to serve as a law clerk to one of Ohio's foremost experts in the family law area. I later practiced along side my mentor and found a great sense of accomplishment practicing in family law.

What makes your law firm unique?

The combined years of service of my three partners and I are in excess of 75 years. Our firm provides the types of legal services traditionally offered in a general law firm setting. We offer the benefits of a personable and independent small size law firm.

Describe your ideal client.

A client who is part of the team effort and who acts promptly and efficiently in following through with responsibilities, and who communicates effectively in assistance of counsel.

Describe your personal interests and hobbies.

I am an avid professional hockey fan and consider myself a student of the game. I enjoy playing basketball, softball, skiing, pinball, horseshoes, and most of all lounging under an umbrella at the beach. I am also a die hard life long Boston Red Sox fan.

Describe your charitable activities.

I am a member of the Board of Trustees of CATCO. I provide legal assistance to the deaf and hard of hearing communities of central Ohio. In the past I have served as Past President of the Capital University Law School Alumni Association Governing Board, served on the board of The Center for New Directions and have volunteered for and donated to various other community organizations.
