CLE Scholarships available

Columbus Bar members may now be eligible for financial aid to comply with Supreme Court CLE requirements thanks to a limited number of scholarships made available by the Columbus Bar.

“The Columbus Bar understands that some attorneys may be facing unique financial difficulties given the current economic conditions. We want to help members in need by giving them a CLE scholarship so that they can be assured of staying active. We do not want to see a member lapse in his or her professional obligations because of a temporary financial set back,” explains President Kathleen Trafford.

Scholarships are available in 3 and 6 hour increments, and run through January 31, 2009. There is no formal application, but you must be a Columbus Bar member, actively practicing law, with a reporting deadline of December 2008 (last name beginning with M-Z) to be eligible.
