2007 Tax Act Update

Three major tax acts were passed by Congress in the last two years -- the Pension Protection Act of 2006, the Tax Relief and Health Care Act of 2006, and the 2007 Small Business and Work Opportunity Act. Each of these Acts contains provisions that every tax practitioner will want to be aware of and understand. Some of the more notable of these provisions include changes to the rules governing individual retirement accounts, health savings accounts, certain tax credits and incentive programs, return preparers penalties, and S corporations.

On Wednesday, September 19, the Business Tax Committee is pleased to have David Krebs CPA, Krebs Advisory Group, discuss these acts and the important changes to the tax laws. We hope you can join us at our 2007 Tax Act Update to learn more about the substance of these acts and potential planning opportunities that may benefit your clients.
