Columbus Legal Aid offices to relocate to German Village
After serving clients in a downtown office (40 West Gay Street) for over 28 years, The Legal Aid Society of Columbus will be relocating to German Village. It will continue to offer free civil legal services to low income families in Franklin County in matters such as domestic violence (Civil Protection Orders, divorce, custody), housing (tenants’ rights), public benefits (including access to health care, disability), education, creditor’s rights, community economic development, and tax disputes. As of August 6, Columbus Legal Aid will be located at 1108 City Park Avenue, Columbus, 43206.
Location is on the corner of Thurman and City Park; it is a short 2-3 block walk from High Street bus routes and free parking is available in the office parking lot and on the street.
All telephone, fax, and email contact information will stay the same, and our satellite office in Marion County will remain at its current West Center Street address.
