PACO names Paralegal of the Year

Nominated by her peers for her commitment to the profession, Amanda S. Coleman has been named “Paralegal of the Year” by the Paralegal Association of Central Ohio. She was chosen for upholding strong ethical standards of the profession, for her leadership in PACO, and for her role as a dedicated educator at Columbus State Community College. A paralegal at Jones Day in the business practices group, Ms. Coleman served as the president of PACO from 2005-2007.

Karen Finch, with Baker & Hostetler, was awarded the “Paralegal of the Profession.” For more than 30 years, she has been an integral part of the legal community, dedicating many hours of volunteer service to PACO.

Other award winners announced at the recent general membership meeting include: Linden Rost of Friedman & Mirman, Best New Member; Catherine Hawes of Lane Alton & Horst, Outstanding Member; Garth Rowbotham of CM Media Inc., Outstanding Committee Member; and Rebecca Cain of Nationwide, Outstanding Executive Board Member.
