2007-08 Officers and Board of Governors elected
The Columbus Bar membership elected three new members to join the 2007-08 Board of Governors. Elected to first-time terms are Kenneth R. Cookson, Kegler Brown Hill & Ritter; Dawn Rae Grauel, Hahn Loeser + Parks; and Anthony M. Sharett, Shumaker Loop & Kendrick. Joëlle C. Khouzam, Carlile Patchen & Murphy and Mark C. Petrucci, Morgan & Petrucci, were re-elected to second terms.
The secretary/treasurer position was won by Elizabeth J. Watters, Chester Willcox & Saxbe. Watters will join Nelson E Genshaft, Strip Hoppers Leithart McGrath & Terlecky, who will be sworn in as president, culminating his six years of service on the board—four as a board member and the last two as a Columbus Bar officer—and Kathleen M. Trafford, Porter Wright Morris & Arthur, who will be installed as president-elect.
All newly-elected members will be sworn in at the Annual Meeting on June 8 at the Hyatt on Capitol Square. They will join sitting board members David S. Bloomfield, Jr., Porter Wright Morris & Arthur; Hon. James L. Graham, U.S. District Court, Southern District of Ohio; Hon. Stephen L. McIntosh, Franklin County Common Pleas Court; David T. Patterson, Weston Hurd Curley Patterson & Bush; Kristy J. Swope, Swope & Swope, and Bradley B. Wrightsel, Wrightsel & Wrightsel. Current president Belinda S. Barnes, Lane Alton & Horst, will serve one more year as past president.
