The Digital Lawyer: Technology shifts in law practice
With 89% of the federal courts now using Case Management and Electronic Case Files (CM/ECF), it is estimated that more than 200,000 attorneys have filed documents via the internet. State courts will soon follow suit.
This movement in the court systems has compelled lawyers to invest in paperless or less paper solutions. The Digital Lawyer seminar (May 18, 9 to 1) focuses on how law offices can move painlessly into the paperless age, be ready for electronic filing and be efficient with technology to perform everyday legal documents and forms—reducing the costs of storing and exchanging large amounts of paper.
