Employment law: a year in review
A video replay of “Recent Developments in Employment Law” will be held Tuesday, March 7 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. for 3.0 hours of CLE credit.
This intermediate-level seminar addresses the most significant cases and regulatory developments during 2006 from the U. S. Supreme Court; the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals and other federal appeals courts; Ohio federal district and state courts; the EEOC; the Department of Labor; and the OCRC.
This seminar, of interest to all labor and employment attorneys, defense and plaintiff, features Christopher E. Hogan of Moots Carter & Hogan speaking on the Supreme Court and Sixth Circuit Year in Review and D. Wesley Newhouse of Newhouse Prophater & Letcher discussing Ohio case law developments, including contract and promissory estoppel cases, public policy cases and other significant 2006 employment law decisions.
Myra L. McKenzie of Porter Wright Morris & Arthur rounds out the program with her presentation regarding developments in employment law from the EEOC, Department of Labor, OCRC and other relevant agencies.
