PACO plans Paralegal Day celebration

In keeping with the spirit of Law Day and with the signing of proclamations by Governor Taft and Mayor Michael Coleman designating May 15 as "Paralegal Day" in Ohio, the Paralegal Association of Central Ohio (PACO), in conjunction with the Columbus Bar, intends to spotlight the paralegal's contribution to the legal process and service throughout the legal community.

Each year, PACO sponsors an event during the month of May celebrating Paralegal Day. This year will feature a luncheon at the Westin Great Southern Hotel on May 15 from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. This event will feature speakers and a raffle to benefit the PACO Student Scholarship Fund. This scholarship fund is designed to provide scholarships to students enrolled in paralegal studies programs in the Central Ohio area.
