Free positive parenting session at Columbus Bar
Do you ever feel as if you should have all the parenting answers, but don’t? Do you feel as if you have the only toddler with a temper? Do you have a child who storms off saying, “but everyone else gets to do it”?
As part of our membership with Circle of Business, the Columbus Bar will be having a brown bag lunch speaker coming to the Columbus Bar on Oct. 25 at noon to discuss the Positive Parenting. This seminar is free for Columbus Bar members.
The Art of Positive Parenting (TAPP) has been the answer for literally thousands of families who have shared your feelings, anxieties and concerns about parenting. Whether you’re a parent of an infant, preschooler, teenager or young adult, TAPP offers tools to guide parents in ways that are adaptable for meeting today’s parenting challenges.
In this workshop, you will hear an overview of the seven skills that form the foundation of healthier, happier parent-child relationships: encouragement, eliminating roadblocks, listening, descriptive language, limit-choice-action, problem solving and stress management.
This seminar is free, but space is limited. RSVP to Emily Eastin at emily@cbalaw.org.
