Professional Legal Management Week fosters awareness, understanding & education

The Columbus Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators (ALA), the professional society for law firm administrators and corporate and government legal department managers, will be celebrating Professional Legal Management Week from Oct. 2 to Oct. 6 by supporting an outing to raise funds for a playground in Dublin for disabled children and by being the host city for the ALA Region 3 Educational Conference & Exposition on Oct. 6 and 7 at the Hyatt on Capitol Square.

Professional Legal Management Week provides awareness, understanding and education about the legal management profession and to increase knowledge of the diverse roles with the profession.

“The week provides a forum for recognizing those in legal management for what they do and the role they play in the success of the organization, and in its service to its clients and those who work in the organization,” said John J. Michalik, ALA Executive Director.

Professional Legal Management Week is organized by the Association of Legal Administrators and is cosponsored by the ABA Law Practice Management Section, the American Association of Law Libraries, Australian Legal Practice Management Association, the International Legal Technology Association, the International Paralegal Management Association, the Legal Marketing Association, Managing Partners’ Forum and NALP – The Association for Legal Career Professionals.
