Sanctioned snooping
~ written by Anthony Sharett, Co-Chair New Lawyers Advisory Committee
Although more cooperative than Coca-Cola with their secret ingredients, the Columbus Bar has been a little secretive about their summer office renovations.
For this reason, I’m proud to say I’ve been given authority to invite new lawyers to inspect the “new digs,” as new attorney Steve Menendian calls them, at the first event of our 2006-07 Event Series for New Lawyers.
On Wednesday, Sept. 20 from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m., attorneys in their first five years of practice or under 36 years of age - members and non-members alike - are invited to look around and see what else is new at the Columbus Bar.
The “While You Were Out” open house features the modern look of the space, hearty fare from the local Wild Oats Deli and the ways new lawyers can get active with the Bar.
Don’t miss this chance to get to know your colleagues and your local bar better. RSVP to Lara Bertsch at 614/221.4112 or lara@cbalaw.org and bring a friend or coworker.
