2006-07 Officers and Board of Governors elected

The Columbus Bar membership elected three new members to join the 2006-07 Board of Governors. Elected to first-time terms are David S. Bloomfield Jr., Porter Wright Morris & Arthur; David T. Patterson, Curly Patterson & Bush; and Bradley B. Wrightsel, Wrightsel & Wrightsel. Hon. James L. Graham, U.S. District Court, Southern District of Ohio; Stephen L. McIntosh, Chief Prosecutor, City Attorney’s Office; and Kristy J. Swope, Swope & Swope, were re-elected to second terms.

The secretary/treasurer position was won by Kathleen M. Trafford, Porter Wright Morris & Arthur, who ran for office with one year remaining on her second term. The Board will name an appointee to fill the one-year vacancy immediately following the Annual Meeting. Trafford will join Belinda S. Barnes, Lane Alton & Horst, who will be sworn in as president, culminating her six years of service on the board - four as a board member and the last two as a Columbus Bar officer - and Nelson E Genshaft, Strip Hoppers Leithart McGrath & Terlecky, who will be installed as president-elect.

All newly-elected members will be sworn in at the Annual Meeting on June 9 at the Marriott Renaissance Hotel. They will join sitting board members Marie-Joëlle Khouzam, Carlile Patchen & Murphy; Robert G. Palmer, Robert Gray Palmer Co.; Mark C. Petrucci, Morgan & Petrucci; and Elizabeth J. Watters, Chester Willcox & Saxbe. Current president Sally W. Bloomfield, Bricker & Eckler, will serve one more year as past president.
