On April 4, 2009, the Columbus Bar Foundation Gala was attended by over 240 people and approximately $40,000 was raised to support the Foundation's mission. Foundation President Charlie Warner and Columbus Bar President Kathleen Trafford hosted the Gala. Colleen Marshall and Doug Hoover were emcees, and musical entertainment was provided by Joe Dunlap, Kelly Crum Delaveris, Maxwell Button, Jimmy Masters, and Doug Richeson. The Columbus Bar Association Alliance held their annual fashion show and luncheon,
"Celebrating 50 Years," on April 23, 2009 at Pinnacle Golf Club.
Proceeds from the fashion show benefited law-related community projects, including
refurbishing the secured waiting room at the City of Columbus Domestic Violence
