For most of us, the possibility of the failure of major banks seemed, until recently, as improbable as finding Alfred E. Newman at a MENSA convention. But, suddenly the phrase “What, me worry?” has new poignancy.

More than a few lawyers have been thinking about what would happen if the banks in which their trust accounts reside suddenly did a Lehman Brothers.

Election Day is Right Around the Corner

News reports are loaded with stories about absentee voting, election fraud, negative campaign ads, etc. Weeding through all the speculation and opinions can be complicated. Columbus resident, Bill Buckel, has compiled a list of resources for voter decision-making.

Secretary of State Brunner hopes to make voting for judges a little less intimidating for voters, through an online Judicial Voter Guide. This site compiles biographical information submitted by the candidates themselves.
