Diversity Initiative Welcomes New Members
Frost Brown Todd and Region Ten of the Hispanic National Bar Association are the newest members of the Columbus Bar’s Managing Partners Diversity Initiative (MPDI). They have joined twenty-eight other Central Ohio law firms, law schools, minority bar associations and government offices by signing a five-year commitment to increase retention and recruitment of attorneys of color.
The MPDI is in its eleventh year and has seen a 74% increase of minority attorneys in the law firms since the beginning in 2001.

The attorneys are receiving training on career related topics including managing trust accounts and general practice management. They will tour the local courts as well as the Supreme Court Law Library. In addition to educational sessions, the new lawyers are becoming acquainted with the inc program mentors and obtaining invaluable advice.
