Half-Priced
Gift Idea for Your Paralegal
Looking for a creative gift idea for your paralegal? Though everyone
appreciates gift certificates for spa treatments or dinner, why
not give your paralegal a gift that keeps on giving? We’re
not suggesting a subscription to the Clark Griswold Jelly-of-the-Month
Club. Instead consider giving your paralegal a joint membership
in the Columbus Bar / Paralegal Association of Central Ohio this
holiday season.
For
just $65, you can give your paralegal a membership in both the CBA
and PACO, offering great networking opportunities, continuing education,
and special discounts from local vendors. Take advantage of this
special 6-month membership rate and demonstrate that you value your
paralegal by investing in his/her career. Click
here to learn more about a paralegal membership.
The
fine print: Membership effective January 1 through June 30, 2010.
Individuals must submit an application and be sponsored by an attorney
member of the Columbus Bar Association. Application subject to approval
by the CBA and PACO governing Boards.
Standards
of Practice for
Attorney Guardians
The
following standards are intended to help clarify expectations for
attorney guardians and to serve as a source of training. Compliance
with these standards will promote consistent practices from the
time a referral is accepted by an attorney guardian and continuing
throughout the duration of the guardianship. Full compliance with
these minimum standards is mandatory unless the court upon review
of the circumstances deems otherwise. Continue

to get “hands-on” information and advice regarding resume
“do’s and don’ts,” interviewing techniques,
and networking strategies in today’s competitive job market.
“Every single line on your resume should tell a story,”
said Wade Meyer, who appears regularly on ONN, and is also with
Spectrum Paralegal and More, LLC. Continue
