Small Firm/Solo Practitioner Committee

Mission

To increase the quality and profitability of the practices and lives of the small firm attorneys and the solo practitioners who are members of the CBA. The committee goals are to share information and pool resources in assisting its members to learn more about the business of law; to identify specific management and marketing techniques designed for the small firm and individual practices; and to create a network of small firm attorneys practicing in every specialty and area of the law.

A Message from the Committee Chairs:

Welcome to the CBA Solo/Small Firm Committee! Unlike most other committees formed around a substantive area of law, our focus is on the business side of starting and running a law practice. We cover topics such as marketing, technology, time management, staffing, and client relations.

The Committee meets the third Thursday of every month at the CBA. Besides the excellent speakers and topics, meetings are a great way to meet and network with your fellow solo and small firm attorneys. We also invite you to check out our social events and other educational programming. More information about our upcoming events can be found on the Committee Community page.

If you have any questions about the Committee, or if you have ideas for topics or events, please don’t hesitate to let us know. We look forward to seeing you at the CBA!
