Columbus Bar 2017-18 Board of Governors Candidates Named
Ten members nominated to run for the Board of Governors and two candidates for the office of secretary/treasurer have been recommended by the Nominations & Elections committee chaired by Past President Jay Michael.
Other members of the nominating committee include James Curphey, Porter Wright Morris & Arthur LLP; Douglas Funkhouser, Douglas A. Funkhouser Co., LPA; Art Marziale, Ohio Attorney General; Sandra McIntosh, Freund Freeze & Arnold; Anthony Sharett, Nationwide; Keesha Warmsby, BakerHostetler; Elizabeth Zuercher, Carlile Patchen & Murphy LLP; and Lisa Pierce Reisz, Columbus Bar president-elect.
On the ballot for officer positions are:
President: Lisa Pierce Reisz, Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP
President-Elect: Sam Peppers, Dinsmore & Shohl
Secretary/Treasurer: Mark Collins, Mark C. Collins, LPA and Amy Koorn, Magistrate, Franklin County Probate Court
Only members who have been elected to at least one full term and currently serving on the Board of Governors are eligible nominees for secretary/treasurer. Brigid Heid, current Columbus Bar President, will serve another year as immediate past president.

The ballot will be available on the Columbus Bar Association website to all voting members on Friday, May 12 and voting will close at noon on Monday, May 22.
