Criminal Law Committee

Mission

To provide networking, mentoring, education and information sharing opportunities for criminal law practitioners in the private and public sector.

A Message from the Committee Chair:

My name is Clay Lopez and I will be the chairperson for the Criminal Law Committee for 2017 – 2018. This is my second year as chairperson and I am very excited about the prospects for the Committee. I am in my 18th year of practice. I started as an Assistant Prosecutor in the Franklin County Prosecutor’s Office and have been in private practice since 2007. I know there are many attorneys on this Committee with a wealth of knowledge and experience. When I first began practicing, I relied on seasoned, senior attorneys to ask questions of, bounce ideas off of or just to watch in the courtroom and I am hopeful that this Committee this year can work with young attorneys and other committees to provide that same experience to our members. I look forward to a great year and hope to see you at our meetings.
