Law Student Committee

Mission

The Law Student Committee strives to bridge the gap between law school and first years of practice in the legal profession. Members of the Law Student Committee are also invited to join the New Lawyers Committee for their numerous events and meetings.

A Message from the Committee Chair:

Becoming more involved in the CBA is a great way to start your legal career here in Columbus. The Law Student Committee is available to help bridge your experience in law school to the "real world." The committee hosts networking events, social events, and information sessions tailored to law school students and the unique years you spend in law school. These events often include participation from different members of the Columbus legal community including seasoned attorneys and your local judiciary to provide insight and tips on thriving in law school and transitioning into becoming a successful lawyer. Being active member with the CBA will not only introduce you to other students but also provide valuable resources as you continue to navigate your with through law school and beyond.
