Program Overview: This program begins with an historical overview of January 1973, including the five major political events that occurred during this month; Vietnam, Nixon and Kissinger; The Watergate Burglars’ trial; and much more. Roe v. Wade is analyzed and the rise of the Religious Right in national politics is examined. Last, the intersection of the Nixon White House and ethics is examined. This event is a must for any student of modern American legal history.
